Why recycle your empty Balloon Time helium tanks?
Helium tanks, like Balloon Time’s small pink cylinders, are made of durable steel and are pressurized, making them unsafe to dispose of in regular trash or recycling bins. Improper disposal can lead to environmental hazards or safety risks. Recycling these tanks ensures that the metal is recovered and reused, keeping valuable materials out of landfills and protecting the environment.
What happens to recycled helium tanks?
Once received, helium tanks are depressurized and safely processed to extract and recycle the steel. The tanks are crushed and melted down to create raw material for new steel products. Any residual gas is responsibly handled to ensure safety and environmental compliance. This process ensures the tanks are recycled in an eco-friendly and efficient manner.
What types of helium tanks do you recycle?
We accept the small pink disposable models of Balloon Time brand helium tanks.
