Join us for the DeKalb Recycling Event, organized by DeKalb County.

Located at DeKalb Taylor Municipal Airport, 2200 Pleasant St, DeKalb, IL 60115, this event offers a convenient way to responsibly recycle various items. Don’t miss this opportunity to declutter and recycle safely!

Here’s what we’ll be recycling, along with their convenience fees:

• Household Batteries: Free
• Smoke & CO₂ Detectors: Free
• Propane & MAPP Gas Tanks (14 & 16 oz only): Free

Items with Convenience fees:

• Latex Paint (Quart): $3 per quart, $7 per 1 gallon, $22 per 5 gallon
• Bubble Cars: $10
• Car Seats: $10
• Hard Hats: $1
• Helium Tanks: $10
• Highchairs: $10
• Power Wheels (with battery): $20
• Strollers: $10
• Tricycles (plastic only): $10
